Studies in Archival Professional Construction (SAPC) (Print ISSN: 3078-283X; Online ISSN: 3104-5030) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Hong Kong Information Education Publishing Company Limited. SAPC publishes twelve issues each year in Chinese.
Scope and Topics
Studies in Archival Professional Construction is committed to advancing research on the standardized construction, innovative development and practical optimization of archival business, and to exploring the theoretical basis, technical methods and practical paths of archival business construction in the new era. It encompasses a wide and in-depth range of topics, including but not limited to: archival business construction theories; archival institutional construction and standardization; archival business process optimization; archival resource construction and resource system improvement; archival collection, sorting and filing business; archival appraisal, grading and resource utilization construction; archival preservation business and safety construction; digital archival business construction and system optimization; electronic records business management and standard construction; smart archival business construction and technical application; archival data governance business construction; special business construction of professional archives; grassroots archival business construction and capacity improvement; archival talent team construction and professional literacy cultivation; archival business informatization and intelligent upgrading; archival business supervision and quality evaluation system; archival cultural construction and public service business; industry-specific archival business construction (government, enterprise, medical, education etc.); archival business innovation and practical reform; as well as high-quality development practice and disciplinary exploration of archival business.
The journal advocates problem-oriented and practice-driven research perspectives, integrates theoretical innovation and practical application, and adheres to rigorous and standardized international and industrial academic standards. It does not establish fixed sections in advance and welcomes scholarly contributions addressing the above themes (without being limited to them). In order to reflect ongoing practical progresses and academic developments in archival business construction in a timely manner, the journal also accepts, on a rolling basis, interviews with leading scholars, practical case studies and academic book reviews in the field of archival business construction. The format and stylistic requirements for such submissions are the same as those for research articles.

SAPC is a fully open access journal that provides immediate and permanent free access to all published content for all users worldwide without requiring any article processing charges (APCs) or subscription fees. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing unrestricted sharing, distribution, and reuse with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal publishing rights. We support responsible scholarly sharing by permitting authors to deposit preprints in any repository without embargo and postprints immediately upon publication. This sustainable model maintains the highest standards of peer review and editorial quality while eliminating financial barriers to knowledge dissemination.
